Adam Troy was born and raised in the Bronx New York. He has lived and played in Orlando Florida, Puerto Rico, Detroit Michigan, and Toronto. Adam grew up listening to bands like Kiss, Styx, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, which is where he draws his vocal style from, old school rock. His animated on stage persona is pure energy & charisma. Adam has played, toured, written, and recorded with bands such as: Trixx, Rage of Angels, Big Wide World, and Zara White, just to name a few. While touring extensively throughout the south east regions of the U.S., Adam through a mutual friend, was introduced to Gil Moore of Triumph, who was instrumental in putting Adam in touch with Joseph and Lawrence. Joseph decided to make a trip to the Orlando to meet and see what Adam was all about. Joseph was blown away by Adam's stage presents and soulful vocal style, it was evident that Adam would fit in perfectly as the frontman for the band that would eventually become Sonic X. Adam decided to go visit the guys in Toronto & collaborate on a few songs, It was clear from those sessions that something special would emerge. Adam decided to move to Toronto and they formed a band called Zara White. Zara White played various shows in the Greater Toronto area to packed houses & with great success. After a minor break in order to concentrate on more writing and recording, Sonic X was born. The rest they say is Rock & Roll history.
